Bro Glo is the Original Tanner for the Boys. Bro Glo created a self tanner for men after realizing most self tanners were created for women and would often leave a uneven tan and had a nasty smell when applying it. Bro Glo launched their product on TikTok in 2020 and quickly realized there was a very large market of men who wanted a subtle, natural looking tan specifically for guys.
The Problem
Bro Glo had instant success on TikTok, selling out of from just doing organic videos. They have built a very large audience (Almost 100,000 followers) and still, their organic videos get upwards of seven million views. These are huge lifts in revenue but they’re unpredictable. Bro Glo wanted to diversify where traffic came from so they started to put spend into paid social and email.
The Solution
Bro Glo decided to launch on paid social media with using Instagram videos from their best performing content on TikTok. At the same time, Bro Glo had developed alongside Valley Digital, a robust email system to capture and nurture any customer that came to the website. Instagram ads have been a consistent driver of purchases and revenue for the brand and email has nurtured customers through every step of the way through not only dales emails but content driven ones as well.
